Most commercial lip balms are packaged in plastic tube. When we first started Lips Carpenter, we also had our lip balms in plastic tube. After a while, we realized that we are creating so much waste as a brand. So we decided to experiment and explore eco-alternative and we found these eco-friendly paper tubes that are degradable in 2 years as compared to 500 years for the plastic tube.

99% shorter decomposition time
Did you know that paper tube can be decomposed within 2 years vs 500 years for plastic tube? That’s 99% more eco-friendly.
You get more lip balms, and waste less!
Paper tube can store larger volume of lip balm as compared to the plastic lip balm tube. Typical plastic tube can fit about 2-5 grams of lip balm while our zero-waste lip balm in paper tube can fit up to 6 grams. Not only that, for plastic tube, due to its mechanism, not 100% of the balm can be used, about 1 gram of the balm will be trapped at the bottom and wasted so essentially you are getting 1g less lip balm that can be used.
